THE BRIEF
Present an accident case study in a 15-minute presentation interview for the AAIB Air Accidents Inspector in Human Factors role with a £73K salary. Unfortunately it was a student assignment only.
THE ACTION
I wrote a concise 12-minute script based on the NTSB report, with Human Factors and psychological theories. The aircraft livery colours, contrasted with plenty of white space gave the slides a polished, clean, serious look, appropriate for the accident. The discussed point on the slide was highlighted with colour. Not all the slides are shown here.
THE OUTCOME
Got the "job". The lecturer asked to film the presentation to show other students how well it went. He loved the animations on the Dirty Dozen slide uncovering the brief descriptions one by one.
