Social media images should connect with the audience at the first glance and convey the organisation's message in a second. They can empower the reader or make them feel smarter and willing to share the image to get "Likes", shares, and spread your message.
The main text should be large enough to be legible on a mobile screen. With company colour palette and fonts, the image should be recognisable as belonging to a particular brand. Only key data should be on the image - just enough to attract attention and the reader stop scrolling through their timeline. All other details can be written in the post body.
